Access Global Theme Form Settings
In HubSpot, navigate to your theme and click Edit Theme to open Generator's Global Theme Styles. Select More Settings, then click Forms to access centralized form styling controls.
Styling forms here applies your choices across every page using the Generator theme at once — making it the most efficient starting point before any page-level customization.
Style Form Elements
Within the Forms settings, you can style each part of your form independently:
Title — adjust the appearance of the form's heading text.
Labels — control text style and spacing for field labels like First Name, Last Name, Company, and Email.
Help Text — style any instructional copy displayed beneath labels.
Fields/Inputs — customize the text input areas. For example, set a Background Color to light gray, enable a Border Style of solid, choose a dark gray border color, and set Border Width to 1 for clean, defined input fields.
Button — style your form's submit button to match your brand.
Style the Form Container
Click into Form (the container-level option) to control the overall form appearance:
- Background Color — set a fill behind the entire form
- Spacing & Padding — adjust breathing room around the form
- Border — add an outline to the form container
- Corner Radius — choose rounded or sharp corners
- Drop Shadow — add depth to the form
Publish and Verify
Once your styles are set, click Publish to apply them across all templates using Generator. Then open any page containing a form module — it will automatically inherit the global styles you just configured.
Customize Individual Forms at the Module Level
If a specific page needs different form styling, click the Form module on that page, go to the Styles tab, and override the settings for that form only. Global styles remain the default; module-level styles take precedence on that page alone.
